It's great. Sometimes I get through them so quickly that, if I cut the times too close, I get into a neighbors town before the clock winds down. Then I have to back out and wait for it to catch up :P

Therein exists an opportunity for a major functional improvement in game-play.

Have you ever let the timer expire? Of course you have. What you see is the timer reaches and then stays at zero. The tappability never materializes - but arguably it should.

For all the suggestions of a 23 hour or 23.5 or 23.999 hour day that appear on these message boards, one conceptually easy way to address it would be to at least make 24 hours mean 24 hours. Let the tappables appear upon the timer expiration! Backing out and reloading is tedious and worthlessly (real-life) time consuming.

I've always felt this should happen.. If the time expires while Im there it should become tappable without making me leave and return.. Would also love a reset after 20 hours - that way I could keep visiting my friends on the same schedule daily and not have to worry about if Im 20 minutes late today, that throws me off for everyday after..

Having a 20 hour reset would also help solve the problem that the total time of the visits gets longer each day because of crashes while visiting. Once a crash happens it effectively inserts a 1-2 min delay between those neighbors; even on subsequent days with no crashes. With a 20 hour reset, I could just start the rounds later and those inserted delays would not be there.

The 20 hour reset would be great, what would be better is if EA turned on the bonus donut program for friend visits. Three days, 100 friends and nary a single free donut. Was averaging at least one a day, one day I got five, but I don't think I have ever gone three days with no hits. I think its a plot to make me buy a golden scratcher...

I've noticed over the last two or three weeks. I'm not sure I've had a single donut in the last two weeks, have missed a couple of days but probably played 10-12. (I think I had two days where I got a donut, but am not sure there were any, and there have certainly been no two-donut days which used to be reasonably common).

I know its probably just bad luck, but it does seem like the donut odds have been cut way back.
  • 20 hour would be nice. Or maybe, just maybe, reset the neighbor visits on a set time every day, like midnight, or whenever you get your daily visit prize.

    Yes, please.
