Well, it must be Christmas season in Springfield…

I just opened my game to find that every building with a Christmas skin was decorated. And, while I do have the Christmas Plunger, I'm certain I haven't used it today.

In case you're wondering, the Simpsons' house was decorated "Tacky" while the Flanders' house was decorated with the "Tasteful" skin.

Anyone else experience this?

    Well, that probably explains it.
    The odd thing is that it's hidden behind a building on the lower mountain range. Must have been a wayward tap…

    I don't think friends can turn on or off your lights. On their end maybe, but I think it's like the rocket launch and the multi-colored spotlights: they see the change, but it doesn't affect your town.

    This is correct. I tested it to make sure on my last neighborhood run through (an advantage of having more than one game).

    It was probably just a glitch.
