Oh wow me too. They used to be a line, but are squares now. It shows how it used to be in image below where I'm placing a road, but once placed it turns to squares as the road above shows.

What do you mean LPN? I've had the parellel roads since day 1 and had the sidewalk run down the middle no problem. If you mean in real life, that is also not necessarily true. Busy streets in cities can have sidewalks running down the middle. Philadelphia is one of those places. :)
