What determines your "landing spot"?

Landing zone is the middle of the land you have purchased.

If you're anything like me, eventually the landing zone becomes that spot on the east side of town where you've dumped everything that you didn't know what to do with.

That explains why my moved. Before Stonecutters it was closer to my mountains. Since then it has remained the same after tthe following events. I have all the land there is, though wouldn't say it is in the middle of it.

at xmas last year you could move the Presents depot and that changed your land spot. wish we had an item to set it permanently since the function was removed when xmas was over

I always thought a "welcome to springfield" sign could be used for that purpose, and make it clickable where we could leave a simple message to visitors.
