What event is next?
Well last year after whacking day there wasn't anything till Halloween so maybe it'll be the same :? Ps whacking day was this time last year.

That would make me so happy. They could have the insanity pepper grow in Cletus' farm. Homer could have a new task, his little "but it's the chili cook-off " dance that he does when he whines to Marge about wanting to go. They could also have that big pyramid and the Johnny Cash coyote. There's lots of stuff to do with the chili cook-off.
