I just check the time when I've been kicked out of the game. Easy to keep track of time, since that happens every 10-20 minutes.

Apple didn't made the first smartphone, but the first smartphone with mass appeal, defining a whole new market. Previous smartphones (like BlackBerries) are clunky and business orientated. Phone like the P800 by SE/// or the Windows CE where barely usable and not really appealing.

So yes, Apple ignited the smartphone market and Android just followed as a me-too product.
