- I would doubt that there is a limit to how many bags you can have since you can purchase them. If you could only have 50, then the big spenders would only be able to buy 50 and that's not EA's style.

So once we get the donut machine we stop opening bags, is that right?
That depends on if there are any other prizes you want to go for. :-)
I would assume that you should keep opening bags for the Spooky House and other "craftable" items
Edit: Then I read the rest of the thread, the other option is hold off on opening bags so when the "currency" changes over to ray guns, you obtain ray guns. But will the "craftable" items change in the queue too, meaning you could miss out on those..... what to do what to do?- If you got Hugo and want the Spooky House you may want to keep opening those bags as it requires lots of fences to craft.

Agreed. But there might be yet another glitch. I can see the programming logic now... "Nobody's going to keep more than 99 bags at one time, so I'll limit this field."  :)madfish86 wrote:

Oh duh, you mean the craftable things! I'll keep opening them until I get the pumpkin then I guess! :D
but once we start collecting ray guns will the ability to craft the pumpkin disappear?
if not i would hol doff on opening gift bags so you get ray guns in them instead of more probes that you don't really need.
Exactly. I don't think the craft prizes are going to go away in the phases; they will be added to.
My reasoning... I interpret "swapped" as meaning swapped from the current phase prize menu to the craft menu. Also, the first phase is not long enough for many of us to craft the items, and certainly not long enough to craft all the items.
I'm waiting for someone who is already hoarding bags to let us know if there is a cap.
The two main craft prizes (Grand Pumpkin and Hugo) have nested prizes underneath them so they aren't going away. Building the Pumpkin House is part of the Grand Pumpkins quest line but you don't have to do it again if you have one from last year. In fact, I'm not even sure you can build a second one. It doesn't appear in my craft menu or build menu.
I stopped opening bags yesterday so I'll let you all know if there's a limit.
Thanks. Waiting to hear. I'm not hoarding yet. Only 5384 probes this morning.Neglecterino wrote:

Ah, yes. A two-digit field. (.. Flashes back to Y2K... Ah, the good old days.)- So, the open questions, as I see it, are as follows:
1.) Will the craftable items (Grand pumpkin + house, Hugo + house, HTS, wailing wall) still be available in the next two phases? Will they be added new items or exchanged?
2.) Will the currency prices (peacock and donut machine) become craftables?
3.) Will only the currency (probes) change with the next phase or also the "crafting tools" (fence, Easter egg, etc.)?
4.) Will the accumulated crafting tools be taken over to the next phase?
5.) Will the gift bags from one phase, if unopened, be taken over to the next phase and then give out the new currency instead of the old one?
Are there any definitive answers to any of this yet? I guess we will know better at the transition from phase two to three... 88KEYS62 wrote:

You have to craft the spooky house too? :( I was hoping we just "got" it after completing that part of Hugo's quest line :evil:juliet603 wrote:

Sadly, yes. I was hoping the same as you. However, you'll need 300 fences, 100 gummy bears and 50 chocolate bars to craft.philiweiss wrote:

i would say the crafting tools stay the same throughout the entire event.
i don't know for sure but because you can buy the individual crafting pieces with donuts i would assume they will keep them all the same.
