What if they nerfed KEM farming?

My assumption is someday they'll add a golden donut currency that is cash only.

To be honest I'm surprised that they allow us to continue to make donuts as easily as we do, not that I want them to change anything but it worries me to know that they don't seem to care about it as no income = no game.

I call bs on Anyone quitting over nerfed kem. And those who would are not likely to spend another dime on this game regardless. For EA there would be a brief period of backlash and then all back to normal. No big loss.

I spent a good amount on this game too before kem farming. Now I get every premium item for free. I know it's taking advantage of the game design and I'd be upset about the nerfing but I know I'll end up right back here after.

Then at least I could reclaim all that land i'm using to farm, play less frequently than every four hours, clean and fix my town design and enjoy the game again.

Honestly, go ahead, EA. Kem farming is a fun sucking addiction. I used to be satisfied with the daily friend donuts and 2 donuts in a day was a treat. At least then the donuts were exciting.

I understand were you are coming from as I have spent quite a bit myself on premium items before donuts where easily obtained, in fact I've even purchased extra donuts to get the extra decorations they offered and with a bit of farming I've got plenty of donuts for the next few events and personally I'll continue to purchase donuts as well as farm some as I don't want to see the game end.

I mean, if you aren't paying anything to play the game, why would EA care if you quit playing?

@taylor435 To clarify: Build the KEMs, wait 4 hours for them to finish, THEN turn on the XP Collider.
Actually the best way to do it is build the KEMs just before you go to bed, then turn on the Collider first thing. You'll get 5x XP for everything you tap on your first clear of the day as well as the KEMs.
Then immediately sell the KEMs and build another set.
Now if your one of those rich people who can buy a Boatload of donuts with your pocket change, then it is indeed pointless. You don't need to do it. Donut farming is for those of us who worry that we might not make the rent each month.

No, that would upset all the non-farmers. All they'd need to do is start introducing Superpremium items that cost thousands of donuts.

The Shelbyville cash bonus items are already an example of the Golden Donut concept
