What is the maximum amount of donuts you can have?

I have maxed out on cash, objects you can buy, where now I remove something worth 1% to make way for miniature nuclear warheads worth 2.25% which come out every so often. Having played for years now, I have 26281% xp and I have over 55000 donuts. All I do now is collect donuts, to the point of getting to the max and then I will stop. I wondered if anyone knows what the most amount of donuts you can have?

  • Are you math wizards saying that its the same process but better return with the KB Oil Rig? I will give that a shot. Im really aiming for simplest process to repeat by hand. I have no robot tappers, which is awesome by the way
  • @4junk3000 AFIK it's 1 XP per $100 basic payout for both the Zirconia and KB Rig, just more XP per sell and replace cycle with the Rigs for eejits like me doing lots of 'em ?
( It's 1 XP per $10 for RTTs. That means it is not possible for me to spend enough fast enough to get away from having maxed out cash, but it is more sprinkles for your spend )
Anything over 1,400% while truck farming means the sprinkles cost less than the retries and the fastest way is take the first box you tap and move on. You can tap about 75 rounds in 5 minutes ( plus the place and sell time ) and should average 150 Ds with that. Go hunting 3 Ds and not only will it cost but it'll about double the time taken for only half as many extra Ds - 5 mins for 150 Ds versus 10 mins and $3.75 mil extra spend for 225 Ds !!
For the Zirconia break even is when you get 75 rounds for two of 'em, or 60 rounds for a single KB Rig, but it still takes twice as long for half as much extra if you do chase the jackpot.
If I'm earning, collecting tasks etc, I will retry for the 3 but if I'm farming it makes more sense to pick the same box all the time and just collect, averaging 2 Ds a pop over time.
A different way to look at that - if you go all out you can hit 900 boxes an hour. Take the first no matter what you get and average 2 Ds that's 1800 sprinkles. If you're chasing the 3 you average opening 2 boxes a time so 450 rounds collected in an hour for 3 Ds is only 1,350 sprinkles.
One word of warning, it's damn hard to hit that pace and almost impossible to keep it up for a long time, but I can tell you from experience it is possible to farm by hand and get that many.
  • That big rig can hit 912 cycles an hour but it still needs the time to feed it trucks. The little one has a simpler gearbox and crank set-up and hits 844 cycles an hour. That'd probably cost $50 to build versus around $150 for the big fella if you needed to get everything. It's also more stable and doesn't need running repairs or tweaks when it's been going for a while. I can easily put the design and parts list for the little 'un online if anyone is interested . . .
The black n yellow stands on the big 'un are about as tall as the little fella . . .

( I put the some of the text in the earlier post then posted the pic and then moved and edited what I'd written )
  • @sfergus - Years spent building up the bonus % and buying and then selling high-value items just for the XP points. For a good start buy KEMs and sell them after they finish building. Best return for your cash but it takes 4 hours for them to build so you can collect the rewards and start another load.
Get your bonus up to over 1000% - it'll take about a year from starting a game without spending real money and best for the $$s is Burns Boxes in store. You can get through a 7 box cycle with 32 Donuts because it'll give you at least 10 sprinkles in one of the 7 boxes and at least 1% up to 3% bonus every time. By the time you've done that you could be looking at 100 donuts a week at least. Keep adding to the bonus and your cash and soon you'll be buying a heap of trucks and getting 100 donuts in under 5 minutes.
    ADDED :-
I won't know until I strip it back and see, but I reckon my town is big enough that with 1,900% and the collider off ( = 300% with the collider on ) I should get 15 Ds a day / 105 a week.
It might even need less bonus than that, but it'll cover the cost of the new premium stuff for the events if they stick to this current format and frequency. Get a busy event or a lot of returning items I want then I can just pop the collider back on and maybe farm a few trucks

How is this possible? I have less then 100 donuts
one step at a time. Yes, first must increase bonus multiplier for this kind of farming to be worth doing. I prefer jetmobiles and nuclear bombs. Im at 4000%. Farm KeMs until you have max cash; then you can work on reducing taps per donut.
  • @4junk3000 - Got a whole heap of Nukes and JEBs but I really like the Snowcats. 20 Ds for 2% is a bargain like the JEBs but they're only 1x1 so you'd fit six in the same space. Kinda why I like the Nukes, cost a bit more per % but it's 4.5% for 2 in the same space as a single JEB or Newsvan.
My B town got 4,000 Snowcats this winter and the JEBs, Newsvans and Nukes were sent to inventory to join a heap of Billboards and over 6,600 Burning Bushes I picked up for $$s a while back. With a scattering of random items even with that lot stored my "little" town from the end of 2019 is around 8,600% ?
  • Thats pretty awesome! I have a zillion hidden tennis courts and wailing walls too, thanks to the couple of price error glitches we were fortunate enough to exploit. They're almost all invisible, as I stashed them behind tall buildings. I wish I had added up how many before burying them all. It would be nice if we could access decoration metadata like how many of each item we have.

I also have a field of burning bushes thats totals about 500% alone, but i'll be chipping away at that as I store them in small groups as needed, to give myself slack from the max item count. I need it raised yet again!
  • I saw the Wailing wall glitch, got a couple and thought where can I put a load. Had a think, had a move round to make space for my plans to work and Bart struck. Game reloaded and they'd patched the price so I spat my dummy out, cursed for a bit and then went and bought a load anyway !!

Did a test on the KB rigs and it's 65 rounds average for them for my town. 3 of those for 195 rounds and $24 mil spend less the 25% back.
I got 39 rounds from the Zirconia so 5 of 'em for 195 rounds and $25 mil spend less the 25%
Not only does the KB Rig save a little time it'd also save me a little IGC too, but . . .
I'm trying to get rid of the $$s, but the time factor matters more. 75 KB Rigs will take me at least six and a half hours plus distractions and breaks, the Zirconia for the same spend is over seven hours !!

  • Thanks for auditing this! I guess i'll be switching to oil rigs instead! Im not concerned w cash, I want minimum taps per donut lol
