What we KNOW about this roll back fiasco

Yesterday we encountered a server issue that caused some players to experience a rollback on their land.

Our studio team investigated the cause and were able to resolve the issue. Please know that it may take up to 24 hours for your Springfield to display correctly. Thank you for your patience and support.

It does seem like an issue with a server crash, or at least part of a server is corrupted. It makes me wonder if this affects people who joined the game at a certain time, because they were probably added to that particular server when the previous servers became full.

How could it not be? Obama probably got EA's TSTO development team coding the ACA/healthcare.gov site.
