When Changes are Necessary
Hope EA read this post because I think it's important ... As we are probably all aware, this event has brought out some very strong opinions from people enjoying it to people hating it. My opinion ...

Apart from quickly fixing bugs and little errors EA almost never change events and I think this is a problem. Now I definitely don't mean just scrap the event and write a new one, I mean that EA should listen to people and make little changes that could spark enjoyment for some angry tappers.
Some people wanted murky water ... Give them murky water!
Some people wanted trick-or-treating ... Release the Nightmare Pile or somehow bring it back.
Some people find the rounded dark edges annoying ... Tone them down but add a spooky, dark overlay instead.
Some people wanted the Magic Monorail to have extra elements and give out event currency ... Add some items to make the monorail customisable and make it give out currency!
See what I mean? Little things like this will overall not turn a bad event good (not saying this is a bad event!) but owning up to little mistakes and trying to please people isn't a sign of cowardness - it shows that EA listen to people and want the best for people.
What I'm trying to say in this post (and will probably get misunderstood by someone!) is that EA should adapt to their mistakes, add some content, make some changes and know that this can be done without scrapping the event and whilst still looking professional.
Solid ideas. Useful post. If only they had done these very simple things to start with - the water has always been darkened, except now. So much of the content is repeated from before, but the nightmare pile isn't. Marge the Witch isn't used but Wizard Martin and Magician Milhouse are. Simple fixes, you'd think (hope), but probably too late now. There is always another update to plan for so I bet they've moved on to Christmas already.
Steps or platforms for the Magic Station would be good, definitely. I've added the corridor to make an elaborate entrance, surrounded it with trees and made a path so it has more depth. There is also the North Pole Monorail station to provide extra bits for - looks a bit odd as just a block sitting there. Let's hold this option until Christmas and see what happens...
