when is christmas event coming?

Think that most of us are hoping for this Wednesday ( as a 4 week event would take us through to the 8th of Jan) but only EA know when and what we are getting.

I may be wrong but I thought it went straight from Thanksgiving to Christmas???
But the event has finished and I still have turkeys splash screen up, annoying and strange in equal measure.
