Which would you prefer (choose one option)

A! Those two are iconic characters. There's a great big hole in the show (and the game) without them. :(

I want option A more than B. However, they may struggle depending on the contract the late Phil Hartman had, but if an ex-officio payment would be required for it to happen, then I say get the cheque book out EA!

what exactly would Maggie be able to do tasks wise that wouldn't involve marge or any of the other simpsons? even if she had her own which i doubt

even quest line she is still a baby what good quest line could you make? i don't think shooting mr burns could be it or even that gifted baby thing they did. Besides they would have to add her rival as well if they wanted it to be interesting

I'll go with option A. We need Troy McClure, Lionel Hutz & Lyle Lanley

Besides, Sideshow Bob is pretty much guaranteed a playable character sometime this year. I bet Gil isn't too far behind as well.

So this way, we end up with both options.

I would love to have Troy McClure. It's tragic that Hartman died, I'll never say otherwise, but I don't see why his death precludes a Troy McClure character being available. (Because he's not on the show anymore? A lot of characters aren't on the show anymore. We have characters who were basically one-episode-wonders, so why not Troy McClure?)

B, more important characters I would say. Would definitely need them more.

B, more important characters. They may have been implemented in stupid ways but having them with tasks would be much needed, more so than A.

Don't really care for Maggie. Gil would be okay while Side-Show Bob would be the major one I would want. In my mind Hutz > almost every Simpsons character.

While it would be better if he was voiced, I'd still take him silent.

It's a no-brainer: Option C.
