It only stops the lag created by the track. There's still plenty of lag when attempting to place, move, or store grouped items. Any action i try takes 15-20sec per move. It's a joke. I can't build anything from my stored KL group saves.
This. I'm really hoping this is temporary and will be fixed after the event (if not sooner). Group moves are all but impossible for me currently, plus the lag when scrolling across my town during currency collection is terrible. I sometimes have to kill the app and restart to clear whatever memory issue is causing the lag but it usually comes back.
