Quite sad that some people immerse themselves so much in a virtual game that they are no longer able to distinguish between the imaginary and the actual. Oh well.
Straight up question here. Why do you post on a forum which is in your opinion full of intellectually challenged, sad people?
Some implies a few while full of implies most which is not the same as some so I do not think this forum is full of intellectually challenged and sad people.
Thanks but you don't have to explain english to me, i'm not 8 and i finished english with a high grade. I was referring to previous posts in other threads as well as the above comment which is not needed.
You made an error so I was correcting it so as to avoid discrepancies. English is not my first language so maybe I am just very observant and precise when using it.
I disagree, no error made on my part.
Have a good day
You can disagree and that is your prerogative but given that it was in fact an error, your decision to disagree is faulty, but still, you have the right to freedom of opinion.
So let's start from your first 'correction' here. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you say English is not your first language and so you are perhaps not as familiar with common usage as you are with precise grammar. 'Some' does not imply 'a few'. In general terms, you can say things like "some are, some are not" and be perfectly correct. In this usage, clearly 'some' cannot mean 'a few' because one of the two cases must be at least 50%. Also, in colloquial usage, 'full of' is often used to mean 'many', but not necessarily a majority. Given recent posts, it should be clear to most why the forum member might believe this to be your opinion. Your use of the imprecise word 'some' is the source of the misunderstanding in this case, and therefore the error, if any, lies with you. We'll skip the part where you make general statements about a person's ability to distinguish reality from game play based solely on the fact that they clearly enjoy playing the game and post about it.
Edit: My apologies to the OP. You're quite correct that we should be staying on topic and, yes, I should have no trouble getting the 20 donuts. :D
