But for people who are also moaning about the awesome Stonecutters event, I just don't know what you could realistically get from this game that will make you happy. Seriously.
Lol, this. SC was one of the best events we've had imo. So much to do, so much content. But there will always be that one person who has to complain.
This. Post. Is. Not. About. Stonecutters!!! And I am not complaining, I'm talking about this currently relevant most recent Gil offer.VoodooGirl81 wrote:

I was more or less talking about people in general who have complained.VoodooGirl81 wrote:

Your original post mentioned the 'pointless robes-for-every-male-character event', so it certainly was about Stonecutters, at least in part. If you're talking about Gil only, why mention the other stuff in such a negative way?teo47 wrote:

My original post was well over 150 words and your focusing on 7 of them. You're just defending the heck out of one small thing, which I mentioned in an attempt to lend credence to my argument for my reasoning behind my small protest aimed at EA and there most recent history of decisions.
Once again the point of this post was to gauge player participation in withholding money as a form of protest, if you are indeed displeased with how things have progressed over a period of time. Or perhaps if some people who are displeased will still continue to spend money, thinking that missing out on this "deal" will hurt them more than it will hurt EA. If you're pleased as punch with everything that has changed, then this post really wasn't meant for you.- Here is what I don't get. Trust me if EA does something wrong I will be the first to jump on the bandwagon and complain but I don't really see any reason to complain here. No matter how you look at it the Gil deal is saving you money on doughnuts. You didn't have to spend money on it. Plus why is everyone acting like the mystery box is the only deal here? I mean the other deal is literally a two dollar discount. I chose to spend 8 dollars on 10 dollars worth of doughnuts and I am very happy with my purchase.
- I'm quite tempted to buy from Gil this time :) Not for my town but for my kids town, mainly cos the deal isnt too bad and i am curious to see what is in the premium crate that comes with the deal :)
I realise a few people arent happy with the deal but tbf its not that bad - To Nova and Neo,
I am not unhappy with or complaining about the Gil deal, or the price of the Gil deal, or the mystery aspect of the Gil deal, or the possibility of getting a duplicate Lard Lad...if this same deal had come up about 5 months ago, I would have bought it no questions asked.
I'm saying the past 5 months of changes/events have changed my disposition toward the game, and I am taking my frustrations out on the Gil deal and not purchasing it as a small protest against EA...Because I'm sure withholding my $34.99 will make them reverse there most recent sizing changes, start giving away boatloads of donuts, reverse the course of time to fix the Easter event, create unlimited land with no freezing and foster world piece. So to spell it out plainly my point is EA does not deserve my dollars, unless they give me something to ease my pain. Mainly just stop shrinking buildings, and more land since we can't go back in time to fix Easter or events that are already done.
I think the reason that some buildings are shrinking is because of all of the complaints about not having enough land. Smaller buildings mean smaller footprint, which means more buildings can be placed on the same amount of land. More buildings on the same amount of land means no more land needs to be released. There have been numerous posts about the land issue and a release of additional land could bring more problems to the game such as increased game crashes.
I would like to see the "visiting neighbors crash" and the "cannot connect to server at login" issues fixed. One or both of these issues are affecting at least 80% of the players right now.
I would actually like it if they standardised the buildings so that they where in proportion to each other. Having some huge and some tiny buildings plays havoc with my design.VoodooGirl81 wrote:

I completely see where you coming from :)
Although i think holding out for world peace might be asking too much - Just gonna say this stop complaining. If you don't like something just deal with it.
The easter event may had boxes but they had some awesome prizes. Also the stonecutter event was great! Awesome prizes and such.
I honestly don't know what's wrong with the levels.
