I always visit my below level 32 friends every 24 hours because I want to help them help level up no matter what (even if there wasn't tickets to collect from neighbors.)

BUT visiting every day also generates 31 xp from each friend each day which helps you get more donuts faster from the bonus levels

I visit all 44 of my neighbours daily, some in morning, some when I home for lunch, and some in evening. However I am ticket harvesting at the moment and on my android tablet am not seeing any handshakes in kl. I do try to do at least one sf building in each neighbours sf to show I am around though :-) there is another thing..... if you tag a neighbours building, and someone else nicks it and itgets tagged again by someone else then you dont get a name when you harvest it.

It is a bad time to delete neighbours while it is so buggy. Has anyone else noticed that the neighbour map screen is not always accurate either.... I have a level 30 neighbour with a thriving sp and a fairly well developed kl but his map shows him as having neither!

The day will come when even the most diligent neighbors will eventually max out, add themselves to the crap neighbor list and not feel a bit of remorse... except during special events, of course. Some will even celebrate their membership in the Crap Neighbor Club, as those in the know know. ;)

yes you are one of my 2 visitors :D I always go to friends Krustyland first and if I can't collect from there by the end of the day collect from Springfield.

The last person who pm'ed me with a friend request I let know that
A. My town looks like crap and I have only just started making it look like a town rather than vomit that fell from the sky.
B. I have a house farm down bottom
C. Unless its wacking day or something similar I might visit once a month just to look at what they have done.

What was the math... 31 exp per friend x 100 = 3100 exp and over an hour of my life I will never get back.

I am actually currently collecting handshakes. I will collect on most stuff in my town but not handshakes and I always leave some buildings for more handshakes. They still get the exp for visiting me plus the inspiration to have a town that looks nothing like mine. I won't delete any friend as long as they are doing something, be it redesigns, funny pictures, or still leveling up and adding new buildings. Anybody who wants to unfriendly me can at their pleasure.

I'm a lot like that in real life as well. I only visit friends to accomplish something like build a bathroom of tile a floor, never for purely social reasons. And yeah my yard/ house look like they were vomited from the sky lol

LOL, that's what I do as well. I try to collect from KL, but if not possible, then I visit SF !

Some of my neighbors have huge towns. It takes awhile for their towns to load. So that can be quite an amount of time between Krustyland and Springfield. So you don't always have time to do that. If you have a lot of cash, you could buy and sell things with a lot of xp to level up and earn donuts. ('m not there yet. :D ) So visiting neighbors is not a priority to them.

Some people aren't willing to have neighbors that take long to load. I am because their towns are really worth waiting for to get in and see. Many of my neighbors have been playing since the beginning (first release) or the second release (August 2012). I typed this last comment because I'm anticipating people who say they don't want a neighbor with a well decorated town for that reason.

fair enough if people don't want or need to visit other towns but why put messages on the add me thread saying they are daily players and need neighbours?

I have a friend with a very enviable SP and completed KL. the map shows him with neither. I can't visit friends from my iPad or it crashes my game. The phone battery runs out so fast!
