Oh look this thread again and the same comment so I'll just reiterate the same reply to to same comment.
Mono = 1
Monorail = 1 rail not track
A track is implying 2 rails of more in some setups.
So a Y splits the monorail into different directions and still remains a monorail.
You can have 50 of more separate trains on the monorail, why's that you ask? Because it's not called monotrain!!!!
Monorails operate the same way as regular rails with splits and Y's ect..
