Maybe you should stick to something like candy crush or bejewled then, the simpsions is not always sensitive to thin skinned people who are easily offended.

- Maybe some of you have got some amusement from this thread, but this is a matter I feel very strongly about.
I only said what I said because the quest brought back painful memories of when my brother strangled and killed my cat in front of me several years ago. I have also learned through this thread that many people can be awful and cruel and that I should not expect much sympathy from anyone.
Contrary to what some of you have said I know the difference between a real cat and a fictional cat. I will not say anything further on the matter. Good day to all!!

As I mentioned in another thread one of my all time favorite TSTO animations is the space mutant and the dumpster cat. Cracks me up. But just too soon for me and thus quest and taking poor little Greta's cay, just no. Not cool. That could've been done different. I still cry about the time I came home to the uncomfortable too quiet of my apartment because a sadistic landlord had literally kicked my cat outside while ranting about having to repair my air conditioner earlier the day before (heard this from neighbors, that apartment and landlord was its own nightmare). I was away overnight and luckily poor kitty was still there on the side of the apartment in the rain. She was traumatized for awhile though. Would startle awake and could only sleep with her head pressed hard into my skin.
Yes I too know the line between fiction and reality and its not the game designers fault my cat passed or that my other cat had the landlord experience but I guess I see both sides. Two days ago it wouldn't have mattered much, just poor timing in my own life. I held my first pet while he seized and gasped for breath yesterday, that's some tough **** to cope with. But I don't blame the game, and obviously I hadn't been around the forum so it is what it is. *hugs* to those who were uncomfortable with the storyline because I feel you there.
And even with all that said I'm glad I do have the distraction and entertainment of this game. I don celebrate Christmas either but its still been fun. So as long as the game is a source of entertainment, I'm a fan. :) velinadelinis wrote:

- Yeah, it took me off-guard too. I honestly did not want to send him on that task. But then it turns out it's Gretel's cat and he gives it back, and Wolfcastle says he'll beat him up if he ever sees him again, so I guess it's not so bad?

I don't know what to think about this...you could have gotten more sympathy if you'd been forthcoming about all of this from the beginning. I wouldn't just expect people to know where you are coming from on this.Almost seems like a bait and switch.velinadelinis wrote:

Yeah, if you needed a little sympathy a better explaination was needed. Your complaint got the response expected of it the way it was put to us.
I am sorry about your cat though, and hope your brother got the help he needs
