I'm sure it's not 'simply unacceptable'. It comes with the territory and if you don't like it you can find another game to play. EA don't owe you anything..

Actually, they DO owe us something. We as a whole have spent multimillions of dollars on this game (over 100 million). I haven't been able to log in for 24 hours, and this is far from the first time we've had problems like this.
