Interesting information, I'm too tired to decipher and process it tonight.Although, I will say....I am not littering my town with 16 restaurants! I have to count but I don't think I have 28 houses and yet my meter for that doesn't move. It's the stupid gluttony that took a nose dive after this update.

Thanks for posting :-) no way I'm littering my town with duplicate Krusty Burgers and Gulp N Blow. They can give us more Restaurants. Like Frying Dutchman, Up, Up and Buffet!, The Singing Sirloin, The Happy Sumo, Municipal House of Pancakes, Sit and Revolve, Planet Hype, to name a few.

Great info, notice there are no character tasks listed.The difference in graffiti is probably made up by cleaning graffiti in other people's towns, you lose 5, gain 1 back, then clean 4 times in neighbors towns to get back the total 5.

In fact, it's been about 2 weeks since I've visited my friends and I still have 5 star Righteousness. (Yeah, I know, I admit I can be a crap friend...still burned out from VDAY visits, and refreshing for the hopes of many Whacking Day visits.) I would totally be behind that theory if I didn't notice contradicting results based on my own crappy visiting habits.Honestly, I haven't looked at character tasks to see if any of them effect anything..totally forgot about that aspect....I'm going to check this out now...to the Bee Mobile!!!

Thank you for this very useful post. I wish EA would add the "Thank You" button to the forum to show appreciation of useful post like this. The number of "Thank You" one accumulate would also be helpful to decide if you should get promoted.

Agreed. Pretty much decided that for now I'll accept the lower rating I'm suddenly getting in this category.

I have not visited neighbours in awhile, went down a few stars, still didn't visit neighbours cleaned up some graffiti and was at five stars from that alone so...

Who knows what actually affects that bar...

I wondered why my gluttony dropped. I placed another gulp and blow earlier today, but yeah I don't want so many dup restaurants. I've been trying to spead them out so I have a gulp and blow and krusty burger NSEW. I need to go back and count them.

I have decided that I don't know how Righteousness works. It's a black box, and I don't know what's going on inside.

Here is how I have decided to approach the problem. My rating craters every 3 days or so. I have to assume others have the same problem. So I am simply going to plow through it. Everyone is going to need to clean. I will continue to vandalize my friends, even if it penalizes me. I clean my own town, and when my rating plummets, I will clean friends' towns as well. I have heard from at least one person with multiple towns that cleaning a friend's town does NOT remove their ability to clean it also. Regardless, I try to balance. If I need to clean in someone else's town, I also try to vandalize. It seems to all work out in the end.

Basically, just try your best, and don't get mad at how other people try. Don't flame each other. EA has made this inscrutable, and all we can do is help each other the best we can.

Just another thank you! I've been trying to figure out for a while now why a couple of my ratings stay low despite progressing in the game. Not buying a bunch of Krusty Burgers, but I'll grab a small variety of extra houses.

This is a *fantastic* post! Thank you so, so much. I intuited that my Gluttony rating dropped meant I needed more dupe restaurants, but I thought that might have been triggered by a small land grab made to accommodate Buddist Temple/Learning Annex/Mt. Carlmore/Magnifying Glass. Bummed about my loosing my 5-Star rating, but I can't really see getting anymore Krusty Burgers or Gulp N Blows right now. They would be so close to the others that it would look ridiculous. And I already have two Lard Lads, so that's not really an option either.

Anyway, this is a super useful post. THANK YOU!!

Yours too? Yesterday I dropped for gluttony to 2 stars, this morning I have 4. I already have 2 GNB and 2 krustyburgers, so i only would buy more if there is some more land :evil: ,
