Missing login button during startup
Ditto! The Origin button has disappeared. Perhaps when the server stops acting up it will reappear.

EA customer service isn't as bad as you think it is. For one, this is the FAQ forum and not the bug and issues forum.
Secondly, I have been around since last march and while i have had the occasional problem with the system that I couldn't solve myself, I have contacted EA and had a response in less than 4 hours time.
During the holidays, they may not have the full staff on board since people do take holiday vacations this time of the year, but have patience and things will work out.
