Only 200 for baskets now?
Try go to friends town menu then back to your town after you click the egg. Should reset.

I don't have any baskets now but yesterday I was giving eggs to a friend. The basket only showed 1 egg but when I put mine in the symbol went out, indicating that the basket was full. Thought it was maybe a visual glitch but I guess not.
