Springfield Heights multiplier confusion

The buildings do need to be out to get the multiplier. The multiplier wont show in the conform-o-meter because it is only an xp modifier and not money and xp which is what's shown there. The only way to physically see it is see how much xp you get from a building with them in storage, then take them out and see how much extra you get from the same building.
