Now that you mention it, I think they did. My feeder town has about 100 tiles. Yesterday I accidentally tapped it and it cost 15000 and 3 days for my next one. I haven't looked at the table in the FAQ...

Squidport tiles now cost less and take less time overall.
Tiles 8-19 now take 12 hours
tiles 20-31 take 16 hours,
tiles 32-46 take 24 hours, there aren’t any that take 36 hours anymore,
tiles 47-61 take 48 hours,
tiles 62-89 take 60 hours,
90-119 take 72 hours,
120-150 take 84 hours.
Totals now are 7878 hours or 328.25 days and $1,640,950. (The old total was 8710 hours or 363 days and $1,814,100).
