This might be a temporary fix, but I've found that making the secondary colour the same as the primary colour gives it the correct colour. But this only works sometimes.

Uhh you can only select one color for hair so no idea how you would pick a secondary color

  No way. You're wrong. I was able to select a secondary colour. I think you probably didn't notice it. Go back and take another look.
