EA_Mako were there nerfs to any cerebral elements of gameplay to further cater to your target demographic? Sure seems like it.

I haven't played in a while. What feels like it's been changed? I can't believe they nerfed body strikes a while back. We need a huge buff in stopping power for more powerful strikes like head kicks and overhand punches.
The game just responded differently after the small update. I accept the competitive modes reward a lack of knowledge of mma, stamina expenditure, and the laws of physics, but if a game is going to be flawed like that, it ought to be consistent in its flaws.
If EA wanted the many MMA fans who quit the franchise 5 years ago to come back, they'd make the game more like simulation mode -- Ditch the arcade elements and watch real fights. I know ufc mostly inks lately but one fc, pfl, rizin, and some euro organizations like ksw are putting on great events. Glory is about to have the biggest kickboxing event in years. The devs need to watch, take notes, and hopefully accept that the money will still come in if they make a simulation.
