I completely agree with this feedback.
CAF has so much potential, especially when there are already communities like SVG WAR putting this much time and effort into creating leagues, fight cards, rivalries and events around custom fighters. EA should absolutely be looking at ways to give those communities more freedom instead of keeping CAF restricted to basically the same system we've had for years.
The biggest thing I agree with is allowing Online Career Mode CAFs to be used in Invite Mode and custom online matches. If someone spends hours progressing and building their fighter, they should be able to use that fighter against friends. That alone could open the door for community-run leagues, tournaments and completely different ways of playing the game.
I also think the archetype system needs to go, or at the very least be heavily reworked. CAF should be about actually creating your fighter. More control over attributes, moves, perks and fighting style would make CAFs feel much more unique instead of everyone being forced into a handful of predetermined builds.
And this isn't just a cosmetic request either. Giving players more freedom with CAF could add a huge amount of longevity to UFC 6. Communities could create their own organizations, rankings, championships and events instead of relying entirely on the modes EA provides.
When a community of over 1,000 people has already proven that there is interest in something like this, I think that deserves attention.
EA has improved a lot of areas of the game, but CAF is definitely one area that feels like it has been left behind. Hopefully UFC 6 is the game where we finally see some meaningful changes.
Let people build their fighters, develop them, and then actually use them wherever they want.
