Striking turned into spamming

I've had this game for a week and the amount of people I've encountered using guys with fast hands just to spam hooks and uppercuts and it goes unpunished on their stamina, they can do these 6 or 7 move spam combos of hooks and uppercuts a million times per round and their stamina barely drops. This is unrealistic, like seriously?
