UFC 6 urgent suggestion
Hey everyone and EA Devs,
As a long-time player of the UFC series and someone who actually sweats on the mats in real life, I feel that no matter how much the cage fighting mechanics improve, the current career modes completely fail to capture a fighter's daily routine, the true soul, and the discipline of the gym. The mode feels incredibly sterile and menu-driven. To make UFC 6 the ultimate MMA simulation and breathe real life into the career mode, the dev team needs to completely overhaul the training camp system. Here are my suggestions to take the game to the next level:
AUTHENTIC GYM ATMOSPHERE - 10-15 PLAYER DYNAMIC GROUP CLASSES
In the current career mode, we feel completely isolated. Real martial arts thrive on a sense of community and the sweat of the guy training next to you. We want to see a realistic, living gym atmosphere with around 15 fighters on the mats at the same time. Imagine doing an intense circuit or conditioning drill while, in the background, other athletes are hitting the bags, drilling techniques in pairs, or rolling on the ground. A living, breathing gym environment like this would flawlessly capture the chaotic, exhausting, yet incredibly motivating energy of a real-world combat sports gym.
DETAILED PAD WORK AND STRIKE SHAPING MECHANICS
Training shouldn't just be about hitting a generic heavy bag or doing lifeless sparring sessions. The game needs dynamic pad-holding sessions. Most importantly, during free training and pad work, we should be able to shape the mechanics, angles, and speed of our hooks, knees, punches, kicks, and elbows based on our own style. The reps we do and our performance on the pads should dynamically affect our fighter's striking style. Whether fighting southpaw or orthodox, being able to fine-tune the intricate details of every strike in the gym would add immense RPG depth to the game.
WWE 2K IS INCREDIBLY DETAILED, SO WHY IS UFC LAGGING BEHIND?
Finally, I want to get to the most crucial point: When even a sports entertainment game like WWE 2K offers such incredible depth with its backstage areas, background interactions, dynamic scenarios, and off-camera atmosphere, it is genuinely frustrating that a game claiming to be a true MMA simulation like UFC lacks this depth. If an entertainment-focused game can bring the world outside the ring to life so well, it would be absolutely phenomenal if EA Sports could offer this level of off-the-canvas detail and authentic gym culture to us true combat sports fans.
It is high time the developers focused not just on what happens inside the cage, but on the gym, the sweat, and the fighter lifestyle that leads up to that cage.
What do you guys think? Wouldn't you want to see a gritty, living gym experience in UFC 6 instead of a menu-focused career?
