Buff Takedown Defense
Please. It almost seems that you have to pre-deny to have any chance to stop the initial takedown, let alone the drive to either side.

I'll admit.
Got the same problem. I can't block takedowns because the animation is to fast.
I always press R2 to protect my head and when someone shots for a takedown I keep holding R2 and press L2 and nothing happends.
I can't block takedowns and that's so boring.
I startet a Training session with Khabib vs. Khabib an easy ground skills.
I do nothing just waiting for a takedown and press L2 + R2 and no chance to stop it
