can you use created ultimate fighter in practice mode?

So practice mode is a great way to get better but since I'm wanting to get better for ultimate team specifically, and there are no real fighters ranked as low as my ultimate team fighters, can you enter practice mode and choose one of your ultimate fighter created characters that will have the same stats and moves as in ultimate team?

Cuz whats the point of practicing my ground game with a fighter that has stats in the 80's and the fighter im practicing for has it in the 60's? Whatever im going to be able to do in practice mode i wont be able to do it with my actual fighter because of his ratings being so much lower...

So I just dont get how practice mode helps ultimate team unless you reach like level 40 and can get the same stats that the real life fighters you have to choose with to practice have.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, no. They more than likely had to lock them and career ones so people couldn't bypass something to jack their CAFs up like people did on Undisputed. The career ones probably have something to do with having the ability to take roster fighters through career mode. Could possibly have led to people using 100 OVR roster fighters in ranked. Sometimes it is just best to take away any option for that.

You can make a CAF using Create Fighter and upload them to Ultimate Team. You can also make your stats the same as your CAF, and give them the same moves. It is a pain, but at least you aren't facing 255 OVR CAFs in Ultimate Team. Undisputed had them in ranked.

It's not the 225 that makes UT the painful experience it is, it is the fact that the ability to have a super jacked CAF isn't equally available, it's either luck of the draw, or pay a ridiculous cost to hopefully get what you need.  At least in the UD days, you could make a career caf, build them up, and with one purchase for 3 bucks you could make them strong as hell. If you didn't you could still compete with a -5/7 difference in OVR of your fighter and the roster fighters could still compete against cafs as well.  In UT now even with 225 you can't really get over 85, unless you get the right attribute cards, which again is luck of the draw, and you can't move them between fighters.

That is the nature of the mode though. That is why I played the hell out of it from the start and switched over to ranked a little while ago. It was fun as hell until the OVR ratings got so high. I actually quit playing UT for the most part. Which was my favorite mode. However, I can still have fun with the game. Just not as much there.

Exactly, but it's the mode that should have to longest shelf life, it's just to random though, I wish there was a way that your card collection could be analyzed in some way so that it gives you the cards you need after a while. Really what missing is not having attribute packs, and ground move packs not available all the time. I get a lot of useful standup cards but I definitely have a deficit when it comes to attribute and ground moves. I find this ore in my Xbox collection as well as my friends who are on XBL

Actually, these modes generally don't because of the pay aspect. Once someone has maxed out (level 60), and they don't want to spend money, they move on. Many of the people who still play it are the ones who have built great CAFs. The point is to generate money for the series. I'm fine with that as long as it translates into the games. The support has actually been phenomenal anyways for these games. I knew this mode would be like this going into it. That is why I played the hell out of it early.

I feel you on the XB1. It seems the packs I opened there were horrible compared to the ones I opened on PS4.

  • So should I just quit ultimate team? My my guy is a 77 overall has a 91 standup, like 65 clinch, and 70 ground. Problem is the chin stats are * and its literally impossible to get any attribute cards including chin. Maybe I'll just say f it and go back to ranked.
