No. It’s a good start to the story. If you pay attention, the coach explains the heart the fighter showed in that fight even when losing. He was down by two rounds, you obviously don’t watch mma or you would know it’s based off rounds. Even dominating in the 3rd round wouldn’t grant you a victory against someone who beat you in the first two rounds. It’s impossible to knock out or submit the guy as well. Grow up, you don’t have to win every single fight it’s literally a video game, especially when it’s blatantly obvious that was an amateur circuit fight not a pro match.

Exactly. Plus, it serves the purpose of determining your skill level.
But honestly: if you don't even bother to watch the segments, why do you even play career?

I beat him. I dominated him, nearly knocked him out, then nearly submitted him, then knocked him out.

I agree with both sides on this. I see the point of it's part of he story. However, I like the challenge of being able to win at an underdog fight! Should be some way to get a win and break the game!
