Career mode not earning evolution points

I earned them all through the tutorial, but when I do the sparring challenges during training camp, it says I've earned them on the post-sparring screen. It even shows them added to the total for a split second when I return to the training camp screen, only for them to be immediately deducted when the training camp screen loads up the rest of the way. This one glitch pretty much kills the entire career mode for me. I'm on PS4 myself.
