Do I start losing attributes 1/3 the way through my career??

Question

I'm about 1/3 of the way through my career longevity wise and I just finished a fight by KO. I somehow got an over 3% longevity deduction. It said that my fight gave me a high enough deduction that I lost attributes. So my question is, did I lose attributes because the game things I got beat up too much and is docking me this time, or am I at the point in my longevity that I'll be losing attributes either every fight or continuously from here on? I can't imagine it being the latter because it would not be fun if you started declining so early. Can somebody please help me out?

I rarely get hit so hard I'm stunned and I've only been knocked down a few times.

I forgot to mention that I lost 3.1 or 3.4% longevity this fight. I've been beet up quite a bit worse but never had more than 2.5% loss.

Yeah, longevity is pretty * up in this game. They try to play it off as saying it's the damage you take during sparring & the fight but like I'll turn their damage down to 0 and if I go 5 rounds I'll lose 6% of my longevity.

The game needs way more customization options in terms of Advanced Settings but UFC 4 is more like UFC 2.5

@Matty1Monopoly Yup. I have a better idea for how your fighter gets old and loses his mechanical health. I have a long list of ideas that would make this game so much better that I was going to post to ea but now I'm thinking I should save it and maybe make my own game some day. Once I actually learn how lol.
