Try the following:
- Go to settings> disc and blu ray persistent storage> clear that out
- Then go to settings> network settings> advanced settings> alternate mac address> clear and restart console
- I did a hard reset and hooked directly up with an Ethernet cable. I tried what you suggested and it's still not working.
Weird man, the only thing I can think of is to delete your gamertag and redownload it.
If you have Xbox Gold you should be able to connect up just fine.
Maybe that port is closed off?
