@inertSpark81 While that is a good guess, that is actually not how it works. Solutions can normally only be marked as such by the original poster. It is up to him to return to his thread and choose the most fitting answer as solution.
However, as this often does not happen, us Community Managers can use our administration rights on the forums and pick a solution.
Now for this specific thread, the currently marked post is not the solution, but was marked as such to increase its visibility (as alphawolf pointed out previously).
To quote the first line of said post: Note: I am temporarily marking this post as solution, with the sole purpose of increasing its visibility.
As the post is on page 8, there is a high chance that other players will miss it, which is why marking it as solution temporary, will make it easier to find for players (they can click on "Solution" on the first page, and it takes them to this post).
Another option we do have as administrators is editing the very first post in the thread, but I try use this only in very rare circumstances.
That said, thank you very much for the detailed picture and explaination what ended up working for yourself in the end in order to get the game face uploaded.
