Was having the issue of the right browser and then was able to create a face but not generate. I followed the advice of clicking on the (i) icon to the left of the search bar, in the firefox browser and turning the gameface permission tab on accept and remember. I had to restart the process but this time the face generation tab was not grayed out and clickable.

Why can't we use our normal browser?
First time I did it I used Chrome and it told me Chrome wasn't supported, try firefox or safari. I download firefox and now I'm having the above mentioned issue
THIS WORKED FOR ME!!! (Sorry for bad English)
I clicked in Mozilla Firefox on the grey block (on the left next to URL) and put everything on 'Allow and remember' (sorry if it's different because I use a Dutch version of Firefox).
Then the 'Generate' bar will allow you to click on it!
