I play PS5 and my friend plays ps5

My friend and I are having trouble inviting each other on UFC 4 we play on the PS5. I have it as a physical version(UFC 4 ) and he downloaded it for free when it was free on the PlayStation app. He simply can’t invite me nor can he accept my invites. He says it “content not available” can someone please let me how to fix this issue ?
