The latest free content update from EA SPORTS UFC is now available for download worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

EA SPORTS UFC’s seventh content update is all about the fighters and includes four new additions to the roster in the form of newcomers and title-contenders alike. This will mark the last major update for the game as we’ll now begin shifting focus towards the future.
New fighters now available for play include:
- Holly Holm – Women’s Bantamweight Division
- Eddie Alvarez – Lightweight Division
- Rafael Dos Anjos – Lightweight Division
- Anthony Johnson – Light Heavyweight Division

With five free content updates in the books and the Holidays right around the corner, we’re closing the year out in style with the addition of four legends from various eras of the UFC’s 20-plus year history to our roster. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, no one can deny that these four champions made their mark on the sport of MMA, the UFC, and its fans in a way that few others can claim to have done. Now it’s up to you to continue their legacies in the EA SPORTS UFC Octagon.

EA SPORTS UFC’s fifth content update introduces some key roster additions, including an undefeated Lightweight, a top Middleweight contender and a former Heavyweight champ.
New fighters now available for play include:

The EA SPORTS UFC content updates keep rolling with a new set of gameplay updates, plus the addition of three new fighters to add some fresh blood to the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions.
New fighters now available for play include:
- Michael Chiesa - Lightweight Division
- Diego Sanchez - Lightweight Division
- Hector Lombard - Welterweight Division

Key Gameplay Updates:
- Stamina Burn: A new "Stamina Burn" system has now been implemented to help counter consecutive single-type strike combos.
- Stamina Regeneration: A pause has been added to stamina regeneration for the attacking fighter if their takedown is successfully denied.
- Gegard Mousasi in Middleweight Division: Gegard Mousasi is now also available for play in EA SPORTS UFC's Middleweight Division.

More great content on tap for our third update including the addition of two new talents to the EA SPORTS UFC roster, a new batch of gameplay improvements and more in-game animations to help make play better than ever.
New fighters now available for play include:
- Gunnar Nelson – Welterweight Division
- Tim Kennedy – Middleweight Division
Key Gameplay Updates:
- Finish the Fight 2.0: Finish off a rocked opponent, running them down across the Octagon with a flurry of punches once they’ve been wobbled.
- Guillotine Takedown Reversals: Users can now attempt a Guillotine submission while being taken down. This move is only available to fighters who can perform a Guillotine choke from Full Guard. To initiate the submission, deny the takedown by pressing R1/RB and down on the Right Stick.
- Takedown Variety: More variety added to takedowns based on denial and input times. Perfect takedowns will now end in Half Guard, while late denials or inputs will end in Full Guard.
- Slips: Back slips will now hold longer to avoid strikes and side slips now have improved evasive properties.
- Fatigued Kicks: New animations now added for fatigued kicks during health events or low stamina.
- Nick Diaz in Middleweight Division: Silva vs. Diaz might still be four months off, but with Nick now available for play in the Middleweight division, you can start matching them up immediately. Manual Taunts have never been so useful.

- Finish the Fight 2.0 – Rush down the opponent with a flurry of punches when they are wobbled.

- Added Referee TKO stoppage if dominant fighter throws too many blocked strikes without the submissive fighter trying to improve his position
- Added the ability to catch kicks on parries if the attacking fighter has low stamina or high leg damage when throwing a kick. If Parry button is held, a takedown will be initiated.
- Added new defensive standup transitions from Full Guard. Moved Sweep to Advanced Transition
- Added Back Mount escape for submissive fighter
- Added manual taunts. Press Left or Right Directional buttons to taunt
- Successful Basic Single Leg Takedowns will now end in Half Guard

- Increased base punch speed of all weight classes
- AI tuned to be less aggressive. AI is more aware of stamina and fight pacing.
- Duration and probability of Health Events has been tuned
- Stamina loss on strikes landed has been adjusted
- Tuned denial windows for various ground transitions, getups and submission attempts
- Animation speeds adjusted for strikes that were being abused Online
- Added delay on submission attempts after a failed submission.
- Submissions cannot be attempted when attacker has minimal Stamina
- Fighters can change stances while blocking
- Adjusted Antônio Rogério Nogueira’s and Robbie Lawler’s Hand Power and Speed attributes
Career
- Fixed issue where Crucifix was unavailable in career. Will now be available on new Career save files after purchasing transition.
Online
- Allow users to view Fighter Stats and Abilities in Online Championships Fighter Select Screen
- Disabled Online Pause in all Online modes. User can still access the Pause menu, however it does not pause gameplay.
- Tuned White Belt promotion and division belt thresholds.
Miscellaneous
- Fixed an issue with incorrect video for ‘GSP Switch Kick’ move.
- Fixed a crash when adjusting Walk out music
