Lost Evolution Points in Career Mode

I was doing a training session and prestiged my straight punches after training my boxing skill for the hundredth time, and was awarded the 100 points, and was thrilled because it was such a grind, and then they just disappeared. I’ve seen others post about this and it really is disappointing that this game has fallen short on graphics/innovation AND critical career mechanics.
