My honest & humble feedback about the game
To keep this short as possible I'll only talk about the critical issue I saw from the game -- that for me could ruin lthe replay of the game.
[It's important to know I'm not newbie, UFC series (since 2009) has been my most played game of all time. Also I'm black belt in hapkido, with years of experience in boxing and muay-thai and huge MMA fan. Furthermore, EA UFC 1 and 2 are the only two games I purchase in pre-order]
I loved the game, I loved the new ground game, but despite of other minor issues of the game, the timing of denials is the biggest EA UFC 2 problem. It's incredible difficult to deny transitions, and please don't tell me I need to train more, I know I have, but that doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. I read a lot of posts about ground defense and I'm still facing problems with that. I don't know if it's the deny window that should be longer or it's something else. I think remove pre-emptive denials compromised that too. EA you have to fix this. I compare this problem with stamina EA UFC had (I think) after patch 2 when you couldn't throw 3 punches without to be gassed. If I can't properly fight on the ground (or like EA UFC 1 without realistic stamina), how would I have fun?
Please EA, consider this. Rethink about the matter, ground game should be fun despite its complexity, above all it needs to be reliable, people has to be able to do the movements, it couldn't be (near) impossible.
Thanks.
