Please do something about the cheaters in UFC 3 UT
Hey,
it's probably pointless, but I wanted to get this off my chest.
I love UFC 3 and play it daily. I play almost exclusively UT (and I know that I'm in the minority there). There were always cheaters, but ever since the release of UFC 4, there is now a literal 99% chance to run into someone who at least exploits the game, if not outright uses cheats. These people either thrive on making you feel miserable or just want to feel good about themselves. Since EA seems to engange in the topic of Gaming Mental Wellness lately, I thought I can bring this up here now. I don't mind losing, and I still win around 3 out of 5 fights, but it is no fun to fight exploits/cheats instead of people. And when cheaters start to knock you down and taunt you after every knockdown, while they are deliberately not going for the KO, extending the "torture", I can see how this would affect some people negatively to the point where their mental health is targeted. (EDIT: Also, that is essentially cyberbullying.)
There has to be a way to remove at least the cheaters. I read in the rules that using exploits is illegal as well, but I'm not sure if bans for that would be really applicable.
I tried reporting a few with video evidence, but to no avail. I either get the response that the EA team will take care of it (and nothing happens), or one time the person told me to use the correct steps to report a cheater - and then she linked me to the page that I used to file the report in the first place. So yeah, not too keen on reporting, if it does nothing in the end.
Anyway, I'm aware that this will probably lead to nothing, but thanks for reading.
We encourage all players to report suspected cheaters and/or abusive players via the methods in-game. If a game doesn't have an in-game reporting system, please report them via Xbox Live/PlayStation Network so those reports are sent to the proper teams for investigation. Cheaters in games are one of the top things I hate myself, super frustrating to deal with and I'm sorry it's making it not as enjoyable as of lately. Our sports teams have been adding more features lately to allow players to report others misbehaving so this trend should continue as newer EA titles are developed.
