- Anonymous10 years agoThats what i dont understand. One alert (vibrate) means your either too early or too late. How are we supposed to practice in that area when we don't know if....First attempt was too late...second attempt was too early...third attempt was too late? Theres no accuracy when both late and early are the same alerts.
I usually hold the R2 button, and then flick the right stick. That works fine for me. I kind of suck at denying transitions in clinch, so I strike to interrupt instead. A knee to the body usually does the trick for me. And regarding how you know when to flick it, that'll just come in time, really. Typically it's as soon as you see the opponent move to start transitioning. For instance, when he's on top of you in half guard, you'll see him bend his arm, and you know he's about to go into mount, so you flick as soon as he does that. If he leans up with his arms, he's about to go into side control, so flick as soon as you see the animation begin. It takes a lot of time and practice and getting beaten up, unfortunately.
I agree the move were disabled pretty much by the new "system" which makes the game useless and annoying because the denials just dont work stamina has no factor
you cant play of the screen animations because of the HUGE latency.

You have to learn the tells. That is the most important part. However, with latency, denials can be difficult to time. Unless they are low on stamina.
