Same thing is happening for me as well, it's also started to affect my manager rating in the top left which you gain for completing the season objectives.

If this is the case then I definitely won't be buying a football game this year. Ratings drop way too much

I think it is just a glitch within the beta and do not think this is a good representation of the rating system on Fifa 17. Before I played a game my ratings went down so I think it is just a bug that will be fixed with the update.

I'm also having this issue! Hopefully it's just a bug or something that can be fixed before the full release. My player's overall even changes over the course of a match. Bobby Wood was a 71 OVR at kickoff, and dropped to a 52 OVR by halftime!
