Re: Tips for accurate looking Photo Game Faces

I've had decent luck with it (once I got it working). Both mine and my wife's characters came out pretty close to real life. Both are recognizable as us in-game.

Best tip I could give is to make sure you have good lighting. I used selfies for myself and I took my wife's photo for her.

I did one for Jay Z using his mug shot

  • Thanks for the reply.

Would you recommend day light or a camera flash?  And what distances were you/your wife from the camera roughly for each pic.  Your Jay Z example is pretty damn accurate compared to what I'm getting for results.

I'll focus more on better lighting if my next set of pics don't work.  (Browser at home isn't compatible so I'm uploading from work.  LOL)

Thanks again for the tip though.

Any other tips out there?  Anyone?

I used regular lighting and stood against a white door.
  • Were you happy with the in game result?

I tried mine in more natural light, and it almost worked perfectly...except it was a bit too bright and it didn't effectively capture my eyebrows.  Appreciate the feedback though!
