Re: UFC Xbox one - Unable to find an opponent

Its F'n ridiculous.  I can go 15 minutes and not find an opponent.  Sometimes even linger than that. I don't have that problem on my PS4. This is one of the inky games I play and 90% of the time I cut my One off or just load the game up on my PS4.

Players having difficulties connecting to online play or to other players in UFC likely need to open, or forward, their online ports. Find the ports for your console below, and then you can open your ports.

    XBOX ONE & PS4: UDP: 3659, TCP: 3659

If you have already opened these ports then you should reset the XB1 network card:

    • On the console, press and hold the Xbox button until the light behind it turns off (about 5 seconds), which means the console is off.
    • After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.
    • Plug the console back in and turn it on using the Xbox button.

Power cycling your router and connecting to it directly with a cable is also advised.

I am wondering, i have no clue what a port open/forward is or how to do it. But i can play UFC fine offline, i can play every single game I have on the xbox one online, GTA, Forza, C.O.D.. etc. So surely, if the problem was with my internet, no games would work?

The problem I am having is when I load online, I enter a tournament or a quick fight, matchmaking starts and then i just repeatedly get the message 'unable to find opponent' time after time again.

Please has anyone got any advice, or a solution to this?

    Cheers.

    Corey.

I have followed the instructions exactly, both ports are open fully and I still have exactly the same issue.. 'unable to find opponent'

Please could this be sorted as it is getting annoying that I pay a lot of money for a games console, then pay extra money to use that console to play games online (using the Internet that I pay for in my house' to then pay for a game that I can't actually play on the online access that I've paid for.

I appreciate there's often errors but noone seems to be responding other than to tell us how to open ports, which doesn't solve the problem.

    Thank-you
    Corey

My NAT type is open, and "all services are available" my xbox works, and my Internet works fine, I have multiple pc's and games consoles that work/play online, it's just ufc that is 'unable to find opponent'

Will this be sorted? Because it's getting to the point where I might aswell just trade in the game as I can't use the online services I pay for.

It's 9-24-2015 and I still can't find a match. My main menu freezes and I bypass it by revoking access on the ufc origins website just to get past the main screen then when I connect online I find a average of 1 or 2 fights an hour. I feel ripped off. I switched over from ps4 and ps4s ufc works fine. This * is irritating. Waste of money. Never buying ea games anymore

I started this feed out of sheer frustration. I was actually hoping for some Devine intervention, an EA God to float down from the darkness and heal my game...it was not to be. Sadly I tried everything, I was on the phone to them for hours just to end up with them not being able to fix anything.......it is sad that a company like ea can't get it right. it's even sadder that they refuse to acknowledge that there is even anything wrong.I traded my game long ago and urge others to do the same.

That's very insulting to place a technically jumbled half * answer as a support link. I don't know what meeting in ea corporate approved the absolute disconsideration of consumer consumer issues... But this answer from so called support really drives home the fact that there is no intention of ever reconciling the matchmaking issue. FACT: before the update, matchmaking was simple and easy, creating a fluid online fighting experience. FACT: post update... Innumerable connectivity and matchmaking problems. How can we as consumers trust a company so undervested in the support of its product? How long till this online server gets shut down like undisputed 2 to make room for other ea titles? This is face of ea... Make way for the next game, not our loyal customers. Be warned... Ea ufc online WILL end up just like undisputed online. Spend your hard earned money wisely

NAT has been open for months and I am lucky to find ONE random person online after a good two hours of searching.

Few weeks ago I was searching with SEVEN other gamers and in two hours, only one of us got into a game with one another. The entire time was spent searching, backing out and trying again.

Decided to take the advice of opening ports and surprisingly, still nothing. Unable to find opponent. The same message I have been seeing for almost seven months now. There are over 20 people online right now, at least that's the number I can see. Can't find any one of  them and I have been searching for almost an hour with an open NAT and ports forwarded.

So is it those of us who followed instructions that are incompetent and we don't know what we're doing, or is there a problem on the end of EA and they refuse to acknowledge it? I was matching with gamers from North America and Europe within seconds 9+ months ago. Today I can't even find 3+ other Australians searching the same weight class with instructions passed on from an EA Community Manager.

Ea. The problem is * ports if people have tried that (including me) and the game still doesn’t work. Rs is * for their responses and they don’t give a * if the game works they got their money.

We are all wondering if and when the servers will be strengthened for a better and improved connection before the servers shutdown for this game. PLEASE we have been asking you guys and all of your solutions do not work as far as power cycling the xbox, turning off and on the router, testing NAT Type, everything. It is more of an issue on your end, and we need it to be fixed so that we are able to continue to play YOUR game that WE INVESTED our hard-earned money. PLEASE fix this EA Sports..
