Have you tried safe mode on PS4? Put in safe mode and rebuild the database. A lot of times when you get those errors, it leaves like an imprint. This happens as well with games freezing and people leaving it on a freeze. That can corrupt the database. So you need to rebuild it. Try that as well as changing your DNS servers to Google's DNS servers. Primary 8.8.8.8 Secondary 8.8.4.4. You might not have to change your DNS server. Power cycle your modem though as this is necessary anyways since they push updates to them and they need "restarted" as well. 

I called them and they didn't listen to me either.

Sony has detailed some specific steps for the CE-34878-0 error message. Have you performed all those steps?

If you are experiencing connection issues then make sure that you've read our article to improve your connection in UFC 2 if you are unable to play online.

Additionally, these are the most important steps:

• Use a wired connection
• Enable UPNP or port forwarding on your router. In the case of port forwarding, enable a static ip address on your console
• Power cycle both your console and router

Have you called Sony and tried to get them to help? It sounds like something more is going on since a lot of people can play fine. There are lots who can't, but that could be an underlying issue with the system. Even a fresh install after setting your system back to factory not working is likely a hardware issue. Call EA and have them sign in to your account and see if the game works for them. I had to do this one time so they could see the issue for themselves.

Yeah, just use the customer support and ask them to try it. They are likely to help. If they can log into your account and play, it is your system. I had to actually have them do this with MOH. They actually got it fixed after that. If the support person won't do it, ask them to transfer you to someone who will. Sometimes you have to push, but if you do it right, things can work out. 

So I have now officially tried everything except for contacting EA/Sony. Even initializing my PS4. Now i have to re download all my games, and still can't play online.

Do you have a friend with the game you trust enough to let you use your account on their console? It would be nice to see if they can play or not. Could be tied to your account. Could be tied to the game. Would be nice to know if it works on another system.

Can you please try the following, and see if this resolves your issue:

- Router/ISP: Allow port forwarding on Port 3659

- In-game: Invite another player to a match (Quick Match/Rivalries) and/or receive an invite to a match as a benchmark check for general connectivity

     *Preferably somebody local to your area (eg: local friends), as a benchmark connection check

If you are still encountering this after the above suggested scenarios, could you please provide the following information:

System Info:

- Which console is this occurring on?

- What is your Gamertag/PSNID

- is your console connected via WI-FI or a Wired Connection?

- Are you playing on a Digital Download (from PSN Store or XB Marketplace) or from a Disc?

In-game Info:

- Which mode(s) is this occurring in, and does this also happen in other online modes?

- What error message are you receiving?

- How many attempts to progress were made?

- When is the last this this was working for you?
