Sorry to hear about the connection problems since purchasing the game. Let's see what we can do here to get you connected.
First, can you try logging into our servers through our website by signing into Help.EA.com using the PlayStation or Xbox login option? You'll need to login with your Microsoft or Sony credentials. Doing that will sync the Gamertag/PSN ID to the EA servers.
Once signed in, check your profile settings to make sure the region you have selected is where you are residing.
Lastly, I have some power cycling settings for you below. These fix most common connectivity issues with our games. For UFC 4, I have seen it where if you have a custom profile picture for your PlayStation or Xbox profile picture that seems to cause an issue connecting to our servers. If you're using one, switch to a default version they provide.

Reboot the power to the modem/router
- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
How to power cycle your PlayStation console
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4/5 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
- Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Launch the game.
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
