@Rufstuf1985Fair point. Then again, I absolutely cannot see Khabib promoting this. Adesanya and Masvidal on the other hand seem to be much more open for that.
Also, Khabib doesn't really have hype now (follower numbers alone don't mean anything), while the other two guys had an amazing 2019.
The four people deserving of a cover spot, in my opinion, in no particular order, were Adesanya, Masvidal, Cejudo* and Nunes. The latter two would have made a badass cover with their combined four belts and one gold medal, but I can absolutely see why the former two were chosen.
In the end though, who even cares? I think the number of people who buy a game solely or largely because of the cover, is negligible.
And just for the record, I would have loved Conor on the cover. :D
*EDIT:
I don't know how early covers are decided, but this was obviously before his retirement (which might be temporary anyway).
